DESCRIPTION:
Orange is derived from cold pressed expression of the peel of the fruit to produce an oil that is golden yellow in color. Some of its active constituents are limonene, bergaptene, citral, citronellal and myrcene. Some of its countries of origin are USA, Brazil, Italy, France and Spain.

Orange is an antidepressant, antispasmodic, stomachic (has a normalizing effect on the peristaltic action of the intestines) and is mildly sedative in its nature. It is also a lymphatic stimulant, helping to rid the body of toxins and fluids (water retention).

Orange is known as a “happy” oil that makes the atmosphere in which it is released feel warmer and friendlier. Some people say it carries with it the sunshine that ripens it! It is an excellent oil to use in the winter months as it helps to lift the winter “blahs” so well.

Orange oil can be used as an addition to your bath, but no more than 3 drops as it may cause skin irritation. It may also be combined with Lavender or Neroli to help with insomnia.

Orange is revitalizing, gently detoxifying. It is uplifting and sweet.

Sweet Orange is most commonly known for its wonderful uplifting and calming scent. It just feels like a “happy” oil! When diffused, it can help with nervous tension, sadness, and can also improve the aroma of a stale room. It can also help support normal function of the immune system.

It blends well with bergamot, clove bud, coriander seed, fir needle, frankincense carterii, geranium egyptian, ginger root CO2, jasmine absolute, lemon, may chang, neroli, vanilla CO2, and vetiver.
